The Brazen Brass, Columbus, Ohio’s premiere all-female brass quintet,  are currently seeking a new lead trumpet player.

We have performed traditional quintet repertoire and are expanding to pop, rock, and other genres of music.

We are looking for a new lead trumpet player. You must read music and be available for weekly Thursday evening rehearsals. Previous performance experience is a plus, and we like to have fun.

If you’re interested in auditioning, contact us!

The Brazen Brass would like to congratulate trumpeter Melissa & her husband Dan on their new addition: Cordelia. Surely a little brass player in the making.

Melissa has decided to focus on family obligations. We wish the entire family well.

We are actively looking for a replacement trumpet player. Contact us if you’re interested!

We’re excited about our mention on the Ladies in Brass blog, which is “an exploration of women in the brass ensemble world and their contributions”.

It’s a great resource for women in brass both past and present.

Our little feature is here.
