The Brazen Brass, Columbus, Ohio’s premiere all-female brass quintet, are currently seeking a new lead trumpet player.
We have performed traditional quintet repertoire and are expanding to pop, rock, and other genres of music.
We are looking for a new lead trumpet player. You must read music and be available for weekly Thursday evening rehearsals. Previous performance experience is a plus, and we like to have fun.

Melissa has decided to focus on family obligations. We wish the entire family well.

The Brazen Brass will be performing at the Short North’s Art Al Fresco on Saturday, August 15.
The daylong event will celebrate Columbus’ artistic spirit. “We’ve invited visual and performing artists from all across the city to share their talents,” explains John Angelo, Executive Director of the Short North Business Association. “The entire Short North will serve as their stage and their gallery for a day. We want to inspire, engage and amuse visitors while spotlighting the power of public art.”
