We’re excited about our mention on the Ladies in Brass blog, which is “an exploration of women in the brass ensemble world and their contributions”.

It’s a great resource for women in brass both past and present.

Our little feature is here.

The Brazen Brass are once again providing entertainment for the March of Dimes in Columbus.

We’ll be at the March for Babies on April 25!

The Brazen Brass will be performing at the Short North’s Art Al Fresco on Saturday, August 15.

The daylong event will celebrate Columbus’ artistic spirit. “We’ve invited visual and performing artists from all across the city to share their talents,” explains John Angelo, Executive Director of the Short North Business Association. “The entire Short North will serve as their stage and their gallery for a day. We want to inspire, engage and amuse visitors while spotlighting the power of public art.”

Brazen Brass will be playing @ 3pm in front of Concrete Jungle (940 High St.) Don’t miss it!

We  had a nice mention in the IBCMF Journal. It was amazing to participate with some of the other artists that were present for the festival.

We’ve got a few things on the horizon, gig-wise & on the site.

Clintonville Farmers’ Market on Nov. 1 (Last market of the season – don’t miss it!)

Holiday Performances with the Columbus Womens’ Chorus

and, yes, even MORE.

Stay tuned for Brazen Brass updates!

The ladies are heading out this weekend to the International Brass Chamber Music Festival.

We’re looking forward to a couple workshops with The Spanish Brass and Proteus 7, as well as some master classes.

We’ll be performing a brief prelude on Monday morning, too.

The Brazen Brass will be performing again at the Clintonville Farmers’ Market.

We’ll be there on the last day of the season – November 1st. Come out for a great selection from the fresh fall harvest while enjoying the sounds of the Brazen Brass.

Farmers at The Clintonville Farmers’ Market are “niche” farmers. Produce sold at the Market is truly fresh! It is picked less than 24 hours before the opening moments of the Market. Participating farmers live and grow their products within 15-75 miles of Columbus. The produce at a farmers’ market is grown for flavor, taste and nutrition.

Welcome to the all new brazenbrass.com!

The Brazen Brass is Columbus, Ohio’s premiere all-female brass quintet. The group is available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, public shows, and more.

We recommend a stop by our MySpace page to hear a sample of our music. We’re also pretty excited about our new merch over at skreened.
